The Best Christmas Pageant Ever: The Musical

When the bad kids in town find out that there are free snacks at Sunday School, they crash and audition for the Christmas pageant. Find out if these kids will ruin the show. Charlotte Ballet Presents: Nutcracker

Start off the holiday weekend with a classical performance of “Nutcracker.” Watch as ballerinas dance across the stage and enjoy music from the Charlotte Symphony. Two performances are scheduled Friday at 2 and 7:30 p.m. The last performances of the season take place Saturday, Dec. 22 at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $25-$125. Charlotte Ballet, Belk Theater, 130 N. Upcycled Gift Wrap

Be kind to the environment this holiday season and learn how to wrap your gifts in an Earth-friendly way. Breakfast with Santa

Come to the NASCAR Hall of Fame for a breakfast with Santa. Enjoy festive crafts, play reindeer games and visit with famous holiday characters. After your child shares his or her wishlist with Santa, head to Holiday on Ice in the NASCAR Hall of Fame Plaza for free. Coffee and Cocoa with Snowflakes and Colors

Holiday Fun at the Farm

Enjoy the last day of holiday fun at Whispering Hope Farm. Children can play on the farm playground and pet an assortment of animals, including bunnies, chickens, pigs, ducks, cows, puppies and more. Horse rides are also available for an additional $5. Santa will also be there. SEA LIFE Aquarium Fishmas Events

Speedway Christmas

The Speedway has been decorated with over 3 million lights. Take a drive through the 3.5 miles of decorations and then visit the Christmas Village where you can see a live nativity, roast marshmallows, get pictures with Santa and more. Tonight’s movie in the village is “The Polar Express” and it begins at 6:30 p.m. 6-10 p.m. $25-$30 per car. Charlotte Motor Speedway, 5555 Concord Pkwy., Concord.

Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops

Sneak in one last visit with Santa before he takes off on his sleigh. Bass Pro Shops is decorated as a winter wonderland and there are many fun activities going on.
